From Putter To Driver And Everything In Between
Driver
There are so many different golf clubs that you could put in your bag. When it comes to the different golf clubs, the driver is a staple in your bag. You use the driver usually on your first shot/tee shot which allows your ball to get the furthest down the course to get you closers to the hole. Most people use their driver on par 4 to par 5 holes. The driver falls under the Wood category, other than the driver there are a few different woods as well.
Woods
The other woods are called fairway woods, the numbers of these golf clubs range from 3 to 11. The smaller the number that the golf club is the less degree of loft is on the golf club. The lower the loft the ball will fly lower and spin less, the more you go up in clubs the higher the ball will go with more spin. You use fairway woods off the tee or, if you are far away from the hole either in the fairway or the rough.
Hybrids
There are also golf clubs called the hybrid as well. These are very similar to the fairway woods but they allow the golfer more leeway or forgiveness than the fairway woods. You will use the hybrids just like the fairway woods when you are out on the course. Another style of club is called irons. These range from 1-9 when you are looking for golf clubs.
Irons
The irons are used for when you are approaching the green and you want to land your ball on the green. The lower the number on the iron the harder it is to hit the ball with good contact and accuracy. When it comes to wedges there are 4 main wedges, the pitching wedge, gap wedge, sand wedge, and lob wedge. The pitching wedge is your lowest lofted club while the lob wedge is your highest lofted wedge.
Wedges
The purpose of having wedges is that it allows you to hit the ball into the air with a lot of spin on the ball which allows the ball to sit where it lands. These are used when you are close to the green and you want to stick it on the green.
Putters
The last golf club is the putter, this is used when you are on the green and you want to hit the ball into the hole. This club allows the ball to stay on the ground and fall right into the hole.

Different Types Of Putters
When trying to select the putter you want in your golf bag there are 3 types of putters. There is the blade style, mallet putter or hybrid putter. The shape of the head of your putter will determine how your ball rolls on the green.
Blade Putter
The blade head putter is a straight narrow head that is more based on feedback on your swing than margin for error or forgiveness. For the blade head the sweet spot on the club is towards the heel of the head.
Mallet Putter
When looking at the mallet head it has a larger surface area which allows your weight when you shoot to be distributed differently. The larger head focuses on more forgiveness when you shoot with the mallet head.
Hybrid Putter
For the hybrid, it is a combination of the blade and also the modern mallet. When using the hybrid you get the feel of the blade but also you get the stability of the mallet as well. Looking for putters that would fit your game is very crucial because putting skill takes you from being a okay golfer to a great golfer if you can master the skill.

Different Types Of Wedges
Another key component of your golf game is your ability to chip. When chipping you are going to be mostly using the wedges that you have in your bag.
Pitching Wedge
For your pitching wedge the loft on the golf club ranges from 45-48 degrees. This is the most common wedges that you will find in people’s bags. The other three are optional depending on your game style. The golf club is used inside 120 yards from the hole.
Gap Wedge
When looking at gap wedges the degree on the golf club is from 50-54 degrees and is used around the 80-100 yard range. This is a perfect club if you are trying to find a bridge club between your sand wedge and your pitching wedge
Sand Wedge
The sand wedge has a little bit small range from 58-60 degrees and issued to hit the ball out of the bunker and for shots 60-70 yards from the hole. It is so good in the sand because it has the biggest sole to allow the club to glide through the sand and not getting dug into the sand.
Loft Wedge
The last wedge is the loft wedge and that had the highest amount of lost at 60 degrees. This is used from inside 60 yards to the green. The higher degree on the wedge the higher the ball will be hit in the air with more spin to allow it to sit on the green.
If you set up your wedges around 4 to 6 degree difference between each club it will allow you to be able to cover pretty much every shot inside 120 yards to the green.

What Is A Hybrid Golf Club?
The hybrid is an interesting club that you could put in your bag. It’s not a wood or an iron it is a combination or both in the same club. They take the iron accuracy, and the fairway wood distance and combine them into one whole club. These are made for anyone that is struggling to hit their fairway woods or their irons.
They are used the same as the two other clubs to attack those longer approach shots after your tee shot. These usually range from a 2H to a 9H which can cover pretty much all of the irons and fairway woods in your bag. They are the best of both worlds in one club.
